IMPORTANT 2025 TAX BILL INFORMATION
The 2025 tax bills were mailed on Thursday/Friday, December 11/12.
DUE DATES: 1st Installment or Full Payment – postmarked by 1/31/2026. Please Note : 2nd Installments are to be sent to LINCOLN COUNTY ONLY as the Town of Wilson does not post 2nd installment payments. See info on the stubs at the bottom of your tax bill.
MAILING ADDRESS: Mail tax payments to TOWN OF WILSON, PO BOX 566, TOMAHAWK WI 54487. Please note: FedEx and UPS envelopes CANNOT be delivered to our PO BOX or to our physical town hall address. Please use USPS Priority Mail if necessary and mail to our PO BOX.
USPS POSTMARK DATE CHANGE: The USPS recently made a change as to when a postmark is affixed to incoming mail. Instead of being done when the item is first touched by the USPS, postmarks are now stamped at regional sorting centers. Please do not wait until the last day or two before the deadline to mail your payment as this could result in a payment being delinquent. If you take your payment to your local Post Office, you may be able to request that they postmark your envelope in front of you, or you can send your payment via certified mail.

Tuesday, Jan 20 – 9:00-10:30AM and Friday, Jan 23 – 9:00-10:30AM and Monday, Jan 26 – 4:00-6:00PM
DOG LICENSES: Dog license payments should be made out to the Town of Wilson with a separate check – do not include that payment on the same check as your tax payment. Dog licenses/tags will be processed, issued, and returned to you in January.
